Η 3η season μας δινει την ευκαιρια να μαθουμε πολλα περισσοτερα για τον Klaus και την Original οικογενεια και θα αποκαλυφθουν τα κινητρα που εχει ο Klaus και θελει με το μερος του τον Stefan.Ενω ο Stefan βυθιζεται πιο βαθια στην σκοτεινη του πλευρα,ο Damon και η Elena παλευουν με τις ενοχες τους καθως αρχιζει να υπαρχει κατι παραπανω μεταξυ τους ακομα και αν προσπαθουν να φερουν πισω τον Stefan.Τα φαντασματα απο το παρελθον του Jeremy προσπαθουν να του μεταφερουν ενα ισχυρο μηνυμα,με αποτελεσμα να υπαρξουν καποιες επιπτωσεις στην σχεση του με την Bonnie.Και ενω η Caroline και ο Tyler ερχονται πιο κοντα,ξεσπαει πολεμος αναμεσα στις οικογενειες τους!

When Jeremy (Steve R. McQueen) was suddenly able to see his dead exes, Vicki and Anna — after witch girlfriend Bonnie resurrected him in the season 2 finale of The Vampire Diaries – was crowned the Single Most Clever Twist by readers in EW.com’s annual Season Finale Awards. So where do we go from here? “When we come back to see him at the beginning of the season, we’ll see that he still hasn’t had any success figuring out what it is that they want, or understanding even what it is that they are,” exec producer Julie Plec tells EW. “We’ll see that maybe he’s been keeping this a secret, that nobody else is aware of what he’s been going through, and that his behavior has changed quite a bit and people are starting to wonder if he’s perhaps getting back into some old bad habits. When in reality, he’s just trying to figure out why the hell he’s being haunted by his dead girlfriends.”

The mystery will continue for a handful of episodes; then we’ll get some answers in an hour that EP Kevin Williamson describes as “the climax of the haunting of Jeremy” in October. “Are they there for good? Are they there for bad? It will once again be another twisty story,” he says. “It’s gonna take a lot of turns and also involves some unlikely participants.”
Plec continues the tease. “We’re gonna have some fun with Vicki and Anna and start to really reveal the secrets of why they’re here, what they want, and who else they have access to from our past,” she says. So we may be seeing more of the show’s dearly departed? Fingers crossed. “That’s the most beautiful part of our show,” Plec says, “just because somebody faces their demise in our world, doesn’t mean we’ll never get to see them again.”

As for what Jeremy’s situation means for Bonnie, we’ll get to see her dealing with a new kind of drama. “Because of her love for Jeremy and bringing him back to life, she’s given him access to two people who were very important to him romantically and emotionally. So for the first time, we’ll get to see Bonnie trying to navigate the difficulties of a relationship,” Plec says. “It’s not about being a witch or having access to the power of a 100 witches, it’s about being a girl who loves a boy whose heart is a little bit torn in different directions. I think it will be nice for us to see Bonnie explore some good relationship stuff for a change instead of just being the witch on duty.”

Here is the low down on the side...

The side is for a girl named Becky! She is described as a Wild, Beautiful, Spoiled Vampire from Stefan's dark "ripper" past. She comes to Mystic Falls eager to re-spark her long lost crush.

First scene is in 1920- Chicago. She has a run in with a few men who are heckling while she is at the bar trying to enjoy the Jazz Singer. She is a Vampire at this time as one of the men tries to grab her and she grabs him hard and brings him down to his knees.

Next scene is present day Mystic Falls High School. Becky shows up and is signing up for Student Council. Caroline comes up to her and tells her it's a smart move to join the council, that it looks great on College Apps. Becky could care less, she tells Caroline that she just wants to rule the entire student body. Caroline is puzzled by her, and then introduces herself to Becky. Becky calls out everything that Caroline has done at MF, and tells her she has sort of cyber stalked her. Caroline is flattered but asks why? Becky tells her she wants everything Caroline has. Caroline tells her she can't just waltz in and have everything she has worked for. Becky tells her she can, that she's been doing it for longer than Caroline count. That it is just that easy..

Sounds like an interesting character.

Vampire Diaries fans, mark your calendars for September 15. That's The CW drama's third-season premiere — and a special day for Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev). "Our first episode is Elena's 18th birthday," spills exec producer Julie Plec. What's in store for the birthday girl?

"There will be a small time jump [from where last season ended] as we celebrate Elena's birthday," says Plec. "But as is the pattern in Mystic Falls, the event never reaches its climax." Elena will now be a senior in high school, but don't bank on a season-ending graduation.

Now that she's 18, "Elena and Jeremy technically don't need a parent living in their house [following Aunt Jenna's death]," says Plec. "She will be taking care of herself."

On the romantic front, might the show now capitalize on the real-life romance of Nina and Ian Somerhalder (Damon) and have their characters hook up? While Plec stresses she would never exploit her actors' personal lives, she hints that "over the course of the season, Elena will be struggling with a deep, deep attraction toward Damon. That's going to be a big problem for her." As will Rebecca, a yet-to-be-cast vampire from Stefan's "darkest ripper days who loves that Stefan's back to his bad behavior." She's not the only one.

Dodging the Super 8 creature — and while under the influence! — may soon seem like a walk in the park for David Gallagher, who has nabbed a Vampire Diaries role with some real… teeth… to it.

Best known by TV fans for his run as 7th Heaven‘s Simon, Gallagher will appear on the first two episodes of the CW hit’s new season, TVLine has learned. Playing werewolf Ray Sutton, he will have a grim run-in (a howlingly bad time?) with Klaus in Tennessee.

Though this does mark a homecoming on The CW for Gallagher, I am told that it was actually his scene-stealing work in the summer crowd-pleaser Super 8 that caught the eye of the Vampire bosses.

Not one, but two former Heroes cast members will be appearing on Kevin Williamson's CW shows this fall.

TV Guide Magazine has learned exclusively that Jack Coleman, 'Heroes' company man Noah Bennett, has been hired as a guest star on 'The Vampire Diaries' for the show's upcoming third season. Coleman will play Bill, a former resident of Mystic Falls who returns home with a dangerous point of view about vampires.

He's the second Hero to be cast on a Williamson show; Ashley Crow who played Noah Bennett's wife on the NBC drama, will appear in 'The Secret Circle' as the main character's grandmother.

When we pick up, what will happen between Damon and Elena?
Kevin Williamson: Stefan has taken off with Klaus for a greater agenda: Klaus is up to something. And that's sort of the first chapter of our story and what that entails. It'll sort of be Damon and Elena's search for Stefan and how their relationship changes. At the end of season two, Katherine uttered that one line: "It's OK to love both of them," and we'll sort of watch that play out. And what does that mean? It meant one thing for Katherine; what's it going to be for Elena? Because you can love someone brotherly, you can love someone like a friend, and I just think [regarding] romantic love, it may not be OK to love both of them.

I think that's the journey. She's on a big journey, because yes, 100 percent yes, she's attracted to this man [Damon]. Yes, she's in love with Stefan; it's the epic love that's never going to change. So she's going to be torn. It's so tragic, these characters. And Damon is like this reluctant character who doesn't want to be the hero, it's not his role in life, he's not good at it. Elena's going to be there pushing him on to be the hero, but his nature is to kill people, so it's going to be interesting.

How did you come to the decision to get rid of Jenna?
KW: It was a hard one. I don't know if it was a decision; it was something that we toyed with maybe a little bit on and off the first year and then through the second year. We just sort of felt once we started developing the third season and we kind of knew that well, it would be great for Alaric to do this; it would be great for this stuff to happen. I couldn't really figure out where she might fit in in that world. And I just didn't want Aunt Jenna in the kitchen with the oatmeal, or the coffee, and just being this human character that just has those "WB scenes" in the morning. I wasn't quite sure what to do with that character. I struggled with it. It was the character: it's the aunt, it's the caretaker, it's the authority, it's the parent. I struggle with those characters on all my shows, quite frankly. So in a weird way, I thought, let's send her out in a beautiful way, and let's let it mean something and let's once again let our characters deal with death up front personally. I just thought it would have an emotional impact that would be devastating.

Will we ever see Jenna again?
KW: I've learned, never say never. I remember when I told Kayla [Ewell, who plays Vicki] that she was going to die, and how painful that was, because that's an actress we loved. As much as we love Anna, she came later. So the show had just started, we were one family, we were all on this journey together. And then she had to find out the hard way that she was going to die. And she was like, is it for certain? And I was like yeah, because if people don't die for real, our show doesn't mean anything. There's no consequences. And it was so sad. I was crying, Julie [Plec, executive producer] couldn't speak. It was just the most emotional day ever. Everyone was crying. But you know what? If we're a success and it's a big show and it has a life, I can't promise she'll never be back. We just kind of left a little glimmer of hope. And she [Kayla] was so great to come back [in the season two finale] because she could have said "screw you," but she didn't.

If characters like Jenna are the hardest to to write for, who's the easiest?
KW: Damon. I'm the go-to. Damon's my favorite character.

Are you introducing other villains this season?
KW: Well, we have Klaus, and with Klaus comes a whole host of problems, and people and characters. The werewolves are still out there, and now that [Klaus] is a hybrid, it's sort of interesting to see what he's up to with the Original family, which we hope to meet as the series progresses. I think there's eight family members, we said. I don't know how many we're going to be able to meet in one season, but hopefully we do it right and we'll have another season so we can build on that.

Will Matt get to stay human?
KW: I personally love him as a human character. I also want to show that relationship of how he views the supernatural world. Because Mystic Falls clearly has got something wrong with it, [in] that it attracts this paranormal activity. And it's going to be interesting to watch our one standing human character for a) to see how long he's alive, and b) what's his response to the relationships of all the people around him. I like him as a human and I wouldn't change it for all the world — unless of course we explored all that human stuff. I don't want to blow it. I like him being human.

Will Bonnie and Jeremy be able to make it work?
KW: We're telling the story in an interesting way. We're slowly sort of unveiling what these ghost-like people are. And so it'll be interesting to see how Bonnie gets in the middle of it and sort of helps him sort of stop seeing dead people. And also they're his ex-girlfriends. They're the two other people he's loved. The only two, in his entire life that he's loved. It's a total triangle/quadrangle.

After two seasons of living his life as Saint Stefan (as Damon likes to call him), Elena’s good-hearted boyfriend did the unthinkable to save his brother. Stefan gave himself up to Klaus and drank from a human girl in exchange for the cure — Klaus’ blood — to Damon’s werewolf bite. But the scary fun of what executive producer Julie Plec calls “the Stefan/Klaus roadshow” is just beginning.

Joseph Morgan, the man who plays Klaus, has some thoughts about how bad — and good for viewers — Stefan’s horrific transformation is going to get. “What we’re going to get to see is how dark Stefan can go,” shared Mogran at Comic-Con. “The interesting thing is that Klaus has given Stefan permission to release that darker side of himself. We’re going to see…what Klaus’ ultimate goal is with Stefan and for Stefan.”

"Vampire Diaries" fans, if you thought Katherine was ten kinds of trouble, get ready to meet Rebecca -- AKA Bex, a beautiful vampire who had the pleasure of Stefan's company back in the early days when he was feasting on human blood.

Fans have been curious about this new development for weeks, and now Zap2it can exclusively confirm that Australian actress Claire Holt has been cast as the former object of Stefan's affection.

Holt can currently be seen on ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars" as Samara, Emily's new girlfriend (though we don't think those two have updated their Facebook statuses quite yet), and is known to Australian audiences for her work as Emma on "H20: Just Add Water." A few of you may recognize her from "Mean Girls 2," in which she played the not-particularly-bright Chastity, one of the Plastics.

She caught the eye of "Vampire Diaries" executive producer Kevin Williamson while he was casting for his new series, "The Secret Circle."

On "The Vampire Diaries," we'll first meet Bex in flashbacks. She's not going to be just a memory for long, though -- she's never quite moved on from Stefan, and you may be particularly surprised to find out what brings her back into his life.

We doubt she'll have any success if she's looking to hook Stefan romantically. As Paul Wesley told us this weekend, "Stefan isn't thinking about other women in the least bit. He's completely in love with Elena and he's doing this whole thing for Elena."

'Vampire Diaries' casts 'Supernatural' star Sebastian Roche as mysterious vampire hunter -- EXCLUSIVE

Sebastian Roche, whose character Balthazar was last seen stabbed by Castiel in the Supernatural season finale, has been booked as a recurring guest star on the new season of The CW’s The Vampire Diaries.
Executive producer Julie Plec tells EW Roche will play “a very mysterious man who appears to be hunting vampires, most specifically Klaus.” Mysterious indeed. As Plec explains, “For some reason, Klaus, who shouldn’t be afraid of anybody, seems to be concerned about this person.” The character was originally to be named Eric, but since the show is also introducing a character in season 3 named Bill (Heroes‘ Jack Coleman), the name of Roche’s character will be changing. “To protect from accidental True Blood comparisons,” Plec laughs. (For the record, on TVD, “Bill” will be a former Mystic Falls resident who returns to point out all the failings of the current Council’s attempts to keep vampires out-of-town.)
Plec is vague about when we’ll meet Bill and He Who Shall Be Renamed, but expect them each to arrive sometime during the season’s first chapter (roughly the first nine episodes). If Roche’s character makes Klaus nervous, does that mean he’s the Big Bad? ”He is big, and he is bad, but I would dare not say if he is the true Big Bad or not, trademark Joss Whedon,” Plec says. “If you’ve learned anything from the Whedonverse seasonal-structuring school like we have, then there might be some bigger and badder people coming [later].”
Roche has already made a splash on set. “He showed up for a costume fitting, and I got an email from the costume designer that all of the women in the costume fitting were flushed and atwitter because he’s a very charming, handsome man,” reports Plec, who’s a fan from his General Hospital days. “He’s a classically-trained theater actor, he is mysterious, he has an element of danger to him,” she adds. “We liked the idea of bringing an adult into our world that wasn’t one of our founding families. He’s just got a quality that is really exciting.”

Just a little over a month until "The Vampire Diaries" Season 3 premieres on Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. on The CW. The first episode, "The Birthday," takes place on Elena's 18th -- but she's having a tough time celebrating with her friends while her boyfriend is indulging his monster instincts all over the country.

The new trailer released is positively sizzling (Hello, Caroline jumping into bed with Tyler. Hello. Rewind. Pause. Hello.) and gives away some juicy moments from the first episode. In it, we see Damon tell Elena, "Stefan's gone, Elena. You can forget about him. He's not coming back."

Has Damon given up on Stefan? We talked to Ian Somerhalder to get the scoop.

"Damon knows this cycle with his brother," Somerhalder tells us. "He's seen it before, totally. He says to Elena, 'Stefan's not coming back. Not in your lifetime.' I mean, she's young, but human beings only live maybe eighty years. For Stefan and Damon, that's nothing. Unless Klaus rips their hearts out, they're going to live for another thousand years."

Damon still has some hope that Stefan will eventually be Stefan again, but in the meantime, he's been tracking his brother's progress with newspaper clippings that hint at the havoc that Stefan and Klaus are wreaking. In the beginning of the season premiere, though, Damon isn't actively searching for Stefan.

"I don't think that Damon's focus is really to save Stefan, because he understands that if Stefan doesn't want to be found, he's not going to be, and in some weird way Damon respects that. He's been there, too, not very long ago," he says.

Despite everything, though, Somerhalder says that Damon isn't aggressively pursuing Elena in his brother's absence. "He wants Elena to be happy and he wants her to be safe," he explains, "and she'll try anything crazy to find Stefan, so he's looking out for her."

Judging by the trailer below, Damon and Stefan aren't exactly giving each other man-hugs when they do finally reunite. "Oh, make no mistake about it, Damon's pissed off at Stefan," Somerhalder laughs. "For two seasons he tried to get Stefan to do exactly what he's doing now, to drink blood, with Damon. And now he's running off doing exactly that thing, but with some a**hole that Damon can't stand. A guy that tried to kill Damon and everyone they care about."

Is Damon feeling a little jealous of Klaus, perhaps? "Stefan's left Damon here in Mystic Falls. Now he's got to protect this girl that he loves, but that he can't have, because it's his brother's girl -- and even though it's Damon, he can't do that to his brother," Somerhalder says. "And even if he could, she doesn't love him anyway. She wants his brother. So when he finally sees Stefan, it's like, 'I tried for two seasons to get you to do this and now you're off running around with this idiot.' That's all Damon wanted in Season 1, was his brother to run around with him and munch on sorority girls and bring down the house wherever they went, and Stefan said no. Now he's left Damon here all by himself, to fend for himself, and protect this girl who is 150 years his junior. He's not happy about it."

On some level, Stefan is enjoying the ripping -- he had to work so hard to be noble and good for so long that giving in to his weaknesses now takes a bit of a weight off his shoulders. As you'll see in the first few episodes of the season, Stefan doesn't plan on coming back for Elena. He thinks she's better off without him... and when he's in this state, he's probably right.

There's been a definite role reversal -- though we will say that Stefan's "ripper" rampage is much bloodier than the spree of killings we saw from Damon in Season 1 -- and we couldn't help but wonder if Somerhalder misses the days when Damon was bloodthirsty, reckless, and a little unhinged.

"I do, a lot, but I realize that there are ebbs and flows," he says. "This is a hundred-episode arc of a character, and he can't just be one dimensional. I was worried that Damon was becoming this hero, and Kevin [Williamson] said 'No, he's not the hero. He needs to be, but he's the anti-hero, because he's supposed to be not hurting people, but that's not his nature.' So he slips, and his response is 'Screw this.' Now, I think that struggle, that push and pull for Damon is what's going to make this season interesting for me as an actor and interesting for Damon as a character. I don't want to lose that quote-unquote 'bad' side of Damon."

He pauses, then adds, "You're not going to see Damon crying this season. Trust me."

Far be it for Klaus (played by Joseph Morgan) to deny one-half of his hybrid lineage any attention during his terror tour with Stefan (Paul Wesley), so it looks like things are nothing short of intense when Sutton and the vamps collide.

Vicki and Anna may have been together in their shocking return to Vampire Diaries, but when the show returns for Season 3, they'll be anything but united.
"Vicki has a master plan and it's trying to be stopped by Anna," Kayla Ewell, who plays Vicki Donovan, tells TVGuide.com. "A lot of what Anna says is, 'Beware of Vicki, be careful.'"

Besides being dead vampires, Vicki and Anna (Malese Jow) have another thing in common: Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen). When the show debuted, Vicki and Jeremy began hooking up and developed deep feelings for each other — until Vicki was turned and killed. Anna soon came to town and she and Jeremy got together. He even asked her to turn him, but she met her demise in the finale. Vicki and Anna came back as ghosts in the final moments of Season 2, and Ewell says the two will be definitely around for a significant chunk of episodes in Season 3.

With both Vicki and Anna back, a battle is in the offing. "They keep hinting towards this huge epic fight between Bonnie, Anna and Vicki," the 25-year-old actress says. "If that were to happen, there would be major powers at stake there because we're talking two vampire ghosts and a witch."

That witch just happens to be Jeremy's girlfriend — meaning Bonnie and Jeremy's blissful romance will hit some bumps because of Vicki. "All Vicki does is toy with people. She doesn't know any other way," Ewell says. "Of course I think ultimately Vicki wants Jeremy to be happy ... but Vicki she can be selfish and her one and only love is Jeremy so she's going to go for it as much as she can. Vicki's trying pretty hard to get back into his life and I think there will be a lot of success there."

Along with Vicki's determination to get back into Jeremy's life, she has another mission in returning to Mystic Falls: to reconnect with brother Matt (Zach Roerig). "She died and Matt never really got any answers as to why and how. They're really addressing a lot of that and our past," she says. But if Vicki's a vampire-turned-ghost and Matt's a human, how will the two communicate? Ewell explains that, for now, Vicki will try to let Matt know she's "alive" by moving things around the house, but adds, "I do say I can come back...they've been teasing we don't just remain ghosts."
And Ewell says the returning Vicki is amped up, explaining: "Vicki got screwed out of life, so she's back for redemption."

Paul Wesley and his wife, actress Torrey DeVitto, can start carpooling to work.
The actress, who has a recurring role on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars, has been tapped to recur on the CW's The Vampire Diaries, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

DeVitto, who married Wesley in April, will play Mary, an intelligent young doctor intrigued by Alaric's (Matt Davis) powers of recovery on the CW's vampire drama. She'll appear in Episodes 310 and 311 with a strong likelihood to continue on afterward.

Former Girlfriends star Persia White has been cast as Abby Bennett, the mother who abandoned Bonnie (Kat Graham), on The Vampire Diaries, EW has learned exclusively. She’ll first appear in episode 312 and recur. Abby is described as a beautiful but troubled woman who is burdened by the secrets of her past that led her to leave Bonnie. She’s also “as determined and fiery as any Bennett woman.” Is that code for “she’s also a witch,” or, perhaps, was there a reason we learned in last week’s episode that someone can be either a witch or a vampire but never both?

^ Περίπου 37 εβδομάδες είναι από μέσα Σεπτεμβρίου μέχρι τέλος Μαΐου. Οι σειρές που πάνε για ολόκληρη σεζόν έχουν 22-24 επεισόδια. Οι επαναλήψεις εξυπηρετούν για να γεμίσουν φθηνά τα κενά, αλλά και για να προστεθούν επιπλέον τηλεθεατές που μπορεί να σταμάτησαν τη σειρά επειδή έχασαν κάποια επεισόδια ή να την ξεκινήσουν τώρα.

We've previously met Klaus' step-father, Mikael (Sebastian Roche), who Klaus killed in the midseason finale, and Klaus' sister, Rebekah (Claire Holt), who recently died at the hands of Elena (Nina Dobrev). Meanwhile, the group's other brother, Elijah (Daniel Gillies, is back in the coffins that Stefan (Paul Wesley) so cleverly stole from Klaus.
